Our California Trip

Wow, almost 13 years!

Wow, i can not believe tomorrow will be mine and Lee's 13th anniversary! Some times it seems like forever! Some times it seems like not so long at all. We have had ups and downs over the years. But, by far its been great! We have four wonderful kids. I really don't think i could have gotten through all of these years with anyone else other then Lee. He really is a great guy. He puts up with me and he is so easy going he kinda goes with whatever i might want to do. By saying that i am kinda just thinking that so many men probably wouldn't go with every idea their wife might have no matter how crazy that idea may be. If i say i want a trip we do what we can so we can go. If i say i want to go out to dinner we go. If i say i want another child he is like OK lets do it. Yesterday i was like hey i think i want a new baby kitten, so what does he do tries to get us to petco before they close so we can see if they have one. : ) They were closed but i think its great how he is so up for whatever i want. I love him more then anything in this world. He is such an awesome man!

Now, to find something fun to do tomorrow so that 13 is not a bad year you know how the number 13 is suppose to be a bad luck thing i would love to make it more of a good luck thing not bad. We were suppose to be on vacation for our anniversary but we had to postpone the trip for a few weeks. If you have any ideas on something fun to do here in Dallas area let me know.

Friends are Great!

I had been sick for several weeks and i had been really feeling like i was missing out on the friends thing. I had two wonderful friends check in on me several times and make sure i didn't need anything. I love you both for that and i think you know who you are. Isn't it funny how you don't really realize who your real friends are until you are down. Really makes you realize what wonderful friends you have.

Well, I finally was able to get out of the house after being in bed for almost 2 weeks. I went out to a bunco it was so much fun and i really needed to get out. Then on sunday we went to a BBQ at my friend Shanz house. This is when i really realized what wonderful friends we have. I am not only making friends for me and my kids but i am also making friends for my hubby. I am loving this. Its Awesome! Friends really Rock! I have some of the best friends a girl could want. I am going to add just a few of my wonderful couple friends. We love you all. Thanks for being such awesome people.

Ashton's last day of being 3

Ok, so yesterday was Ashton's last day of being 3 so Lee and I took him out to spend the day with just him. This is not something we get to do much with having 4 kids. : ) So, we had a lot of fun! We took him to the Harbor in Rockwall we walked around and enjoyed! Then we went out for dinner to Ruby Tuesdays. After that we walked around some more then we took him to see a movie this was the first time he has ever been to a movie. We say Indiana Jones well i should say Lee saw Indiana Jones Ashton and mommy watched some of it but he did not want to sit long at all so we went out to go potty and just walked around. We went and got some M&Ms and lets just say that is a word Ashton says very funny you will have to here him say it next time you see him. Well i let him order and the guy laughed and said can you say it again well then a young girl said Oh MY Gosh that is the cutest thing i have ever heard can you say it again! so we stood there while ashton intertained them for a little while. He ended up having two bags of M&Ms out of the deal one with peanuts one without. This confused him a bit he kept saying i just asked for ONE!! Oh and he was a little confused with the movies he kept thinking we were going to blockbuster to see a movie he kept saying they don't have seats there where will we sit? He was such a good boy yesterday and it was a very very long day but we all had so much fun.

May and June

Wow, it has been a super busy few months. I just added some pictures from some of the things we have been doing the past two months. We had Melinda's Choir field trip Lee and Ashton and I went with her class. It was such a fun day! Sandy Lake is where we went and it was also the first time Ashton had ever rode on rides like that. It was so much fun to see the joy in his eyes as he got on each ride. There was not a lot of kids his age around when it was time to let him have fun, we had taken Melinda and some of her friends around all day and let them do their thing. Well after the girls got back on the bus to head back to school, Lee and Ashton and Melinda and I went crazy. : ) Ashton was the only little one at the rides at first so the guy took him on a tour of the rides letting him go crazy on them. It was so funny to see. Although at one point i turned to look at something and heard the guy yell Oh NO sit down and it seemed Ashton was tired of riding in the front seat of the boat and was moving to the back seat while it was going. Freaked us out but he was fine, he said it went to slow for him.

lol Next was Melinda's field day at the school Ashton was sick that day so i stayed home with him so daddy could go with Melinda to that. Not many pictures from that being Daddy didn't take as many as mommy would have if she had gone. He took more pictures of the animals at the petting part. and of birds flying bye you know things like that! She had fun though.

Next we had Jacob's graduation from High School. Yes, this was such a wonderful time and such a sad time as well. My baby is now out of High School. Oh MY!! I am sad and Happy at the same time. We had Stephanie's 13th Birthday right before the Graduation. Can't believe she is a teenager now!! Man the time is going so fast with these kids.

Oh i did have a wonderful Moms night out also that month with some great friends it was such a great night out. Sorry it seems i am getting these events out of order sorry about that man there really was so many things going on.

Well the next thing coming up is my babies Birthday I can not believe Ashton will be 4 on sat, Man the time with him has gone super fast! We tried 4 years for him and although he is a lot of work some days he is so worth it all. We got him a black truck for his birthday he kept asking for a pink jeep like he has gotten to ride over at Tanner and Mckinlee's house Lee said NO to the pink jeep so i thought a black truck might help him get over that. : ) He loves it although he did say he still likes that pink jeep better. Go figure!! Thanks for reading all of this. And, if you were there for some of these wonderful times in our lives thank you so much for that. I have realized over the past few months that i have got some really awesome friends!

Jacob's Senior Prom!

The next big event in our house was my son Jacob's first ever High School Prom! He went with her girlfriend of almost two years. They looked so cute all dressed up.

I have been so busy i have not had time to do this in a while. So, i will say we had Melinda's 10th Birthday Party. This was in April. sorry i have not had time to post it sooner. We went to Nickleromas with some of her friends. It was a very nice night out. Here is Melinda and some of her school friends. I had to add one of us mommy friends. : )
